About Design ‘N Gather
At the intersections of digital and physical, art and technology, Artaic continually stretches the bounds of what can be designed in tile, and we are welcoming you to do the same. Together with our partners, we invite designers from all backgrounds to become digital mosaic artists.
We will provide you with a blank canvas in a space and the unique tools to design original mosaic artwork which can be submitted for the opportunity to be produced by Artaic and permanently installed.
The competition welcomes designers from all disciplines: architecture, product design, fashion, interior design, photography, painting, furniture design, and any other creative field to come together, pick up new tools and create a one-of-a-kind piece that has lasting impact on the space and on the individuals that experience it.
Selection Process
Through a blind judging process, finalists will be selected by a jury of design professionals. The top ten, and three finalists will be picked based on the creativity, execution and successful interpretation of thematic elements. From those finalists, one will be selected as the winning submission.
Competition Guidelines
- Free participation, no purchase necessary
- Registration is required
- Participation is open to applicants from all design backgrounds including professionals, students and design-enthusiasts.
- Participants can submit up to 2 renderings and will be disqualified if that number is exceeded.
- Finalists will be selected by a jury of design professionals.
- Winning submission is produced by Artaic and installed permanently into the architecture of the building.
